Our Partnerships

We have a number of long-standing partnerships with Fareshare, GroceryAid, Porchlight, and VegPower and you can find out more about those relationships below:

Fareshare

Thanet Earth have partnered up with Fareshare for a number of years and we are immensely proud to be a Leading Food Partner to the charity. See a summary of our donations below.

FareShare strengthens communities through food that would otherwise go to waste. By combating the environmental problem of food waste they create positive economic and social outcomes for charities, enabling them to reach more people and have a greater impact on those they serve.

GroceryAid supports people who work or have worked in the grocery industry. The support for all our Thanet Earth and agency employees covers everything from debt advice, financial grants, mental health awareness, counselling & workplace support, legal advice to carers support.

VegPower

Here at Thanet Earth we are avid supporters of VegPower, you may have seen their ‘Eat them to defeat them’ adverts on TV, encouraging children to eat more veg as 80% of our children are not eating enough vegetables, with a third eating less than one portion a day. The VegPower mission is to inspire kids to love vegetables and to share that joy with their parents today and their own children tomorrow.

VegPower is an incredible alliance united by a common goal. This alliance includes businesses large and small, government at every level, schools and community groups, and dedicated individuals all over the UK generously providing funding, free media, goods and services, or their time and effort.

Porchlight

The Porchlight Charity for Homeless people in Kent is very close to our hearts here at Thanet Earth. We have adopted them as our Charity of the Year since 2021, raising over £30,000 for them in that time.

Their mission is based on the following 3 values:

  • Preventing people from becoming homeless through the provision of timely and personalised support services
  • Providing housing, education, employability and personal development support to the most vulnerable and isolated people in our communities
  • Challenging negative attitudes towards people who are homeless, living with mental ill health, or living in poverty.
